9-11 Memorial Japanese Lantern Ceremony
If you're as sick of Fundamentalist demagogues, fear ridden Islamaphobes and the media who pimps for them as much as I am, and if are looking for a much more compassionate activity for your 9-11 Day Memorial I humbly suggest the 9-11 Japanese Lantern Ceremony. I don't know the Buddhist church who is putting on the event, nor have they asked me to plug it.. I chose to do this on my own.
If you can go, let me know. I'd love to interview some attendants for my upcoming blog post. If You're a member of NYBC give me a shout and let me know how it went.
I pray for more media coverage for this event and others like it.
