Missing that Cheeseburger in paradise?
I have a primal recipe here that's simple and easy to make. Remove the cheese if you prefer to go paleo.
1 pound of extra lean hamburger meat
onion slices (I prefer purple onion myself)
1 roma tomato sliced thin and de seeded
either romaine or ice burg lettuce leaves for the wrap
1 slice of good quality cheese. optional. (No plastic cheese or cheese snot)
add salt and pepper to meat, fry in a cast iron skillet intil it's done just the way you like it.
Smear mayo on lettuce, add meat, tomato, cheese and onion. Wrap and enjoy with veggie chips. For the chips in the afore mentioned cooking.com recipe I substitue non root vegetables like summer squash and zuccini for potatoes.
Makes 4 good sized patties.
Makes a great lunch.
